Neurological Surgery

Advanced imaging with computer tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) as well as hospital facilities would be required for these cases

Ventral slot, canine,intervertebral disc disease, IVDD, cervical herniation

Ventral Slot

If a disc has herniated or extruded into the cervical vertebral canal a ventral slot is performed to remove the disc material. 

Hemilaminectomy

For thoracic-lumbar or lumbar disc herniations a hmmilaminectomy allows removal of the disc material.

Cervical stabilisation, Atlanto-axial luxation, cement

Stabilisation

Luxations and lumbo-sacral stenosis cases can benefit from stabilisation using screws and cement or pedicles. 3D custom guides will be required.
